Deze wordt dan ook gemaakt met het braadvet waarin het vlees is gebraden. Verwarm de compote, de jam en de kaneel op een laag vuur in een pannetje. Voeg de room toe (pan van het vuur) al roerend toe. Blus nu het braadvet met het cranberry mengsel en serveer dit als saus.
